  Eight Federal Credit Union is committed to building strong member relationships by providing a full range of quality products and services that will enable our member to meet their financial needs and reach their financial goals. EFCU does not and will not sell mailing lists of the financial information of its membership.. We do however share certain information in the course for providing and administering the products and services you use.  all of our information sharing is protect by contractual non-disclosure agreements.
  
  Collection and Disclosure of Personal Information:  
  
  When you apply for a product or service, we will only ask for personal information that is necessary to provide competitive financial products and services.  We will retain an may share information we learn about you from the following sources;  information received from you on applications (paper and online) or other forms such as you name, address, social security number; information about your transactions with us such as your payment history and credit card usage; information we receive from consumer reporting agencies such as your credit history.
  
  Parties Who Receive Information From Us  
  
  We may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to the following types of third parties:

Financial service providers, such as insurance companies and Mortgage Services Companies

Non-Financial companies, such as consumer reporting agencies, data processors, check/share draft printers, plastic card processors, and government agencies. 

To protect our member's privacy, we only work with companies that agree to maintain strong confidentiality  protections and limit the use of information we provide.  We do not permit these companies to sell the information we provide to other third parties.  

Disclosure of Information About Former Members

If you terminate your membership with EFCU, we will not share formation we have collected about you, except as may be permitted or required by law.  

How We Protect Your Information

 Employee access to personal information is restricted to their need to know such information for business reasons.  We maintain physical, electronic, or procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information. 

Accuracy of Information:  

We strive to make sure our records contain accurate information.  Inaccurate information, when brought to our attention, will be corrected promptly.  We request that you keep your personal information with us as current as possible so you may take advantage of all EFCU products.
